Dr. Justin Cook has been with Niche Science & Technology Ltd. since 2001, progressing to the role of Head of Medical Writing in 2008. With more than 25 years of experience in medical communications, Justin has delivered virtually every type of document required of a medical writer. He draws on this wealth of expertise to define and implement the company’s Medical Writing strategy, ensuring that Niche remains a trusted partner for clients across the full spectrum of regulatory and scientific communications.

 

Working closely with his leadership team, Justin guides writers at all stages of their careers, from those taking their first steps into medical writing to experienced specialists. He plays an active role in managing workflow, maintaining quality standards, and balancing budgets across his department. His background includes senior roles within CROs and global pharmaceutical companies, where he gained extensive experience preparing regulatory submissions, clinical documents, and manuscripts for peer-reviewed journals. This diverse background gives Justin the insight and authority to support both his colleagues and clients with clarity and confidence.

 

Known for his approachable style, Justin is a constant source of support and encouragement to his team. His organisational skills and steady leadership help create a productive and positive environment, ensuring that projects run smoothly and client expectations are exceeded.

 

Beyond his professional achievements, Justin has always had a passion for nurturing—whether it be mentoring his team, caring for his family, or raising pigs and chickens at home. More recently, his focus has turned to his polytunnel, where he grows chillies and tomatoes to create unique fermented chilli sauces. This blend of professional dedication and personal creativity reflects the energy and balance Justin brings to Niche and to all aspects of his life.
